This Cancellation Policy explains how order cancellations are handled for domestic orders, international orders, pre-orders, and special-order products.

1. General Cancellation Policy

Customers may request cancellation of an order before it has been dispatched.

Once an order has been dispatched, handed over to a shipping provider, or marked as shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.

We encourage customers to contact us as soon as possible if they wish to cancel an order.

2. Domestic Order Cancellations

For standard domestic orders:

  • Orders may generally be cancelled before dispatch.
  • If cancellation is approved before dispatch, a refund will be processed according to this policy.
  • Once an order has been dispatched, customers should refer to our Refund & Return Policy for available options.

3. International Order Cancellations

Before Shipping Payment Confirmation

For international orders that require separate shipping confirmation:

  • Customers may cancel the order before paying the final shipping invoice.
  • No shipping charges will apply if cancellation occurs before shipping payment confirmation.

After Shipping Payment Confirmation

If shipping charges have already been paid and order processing has begun, cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Applicable processing fees, payment gateway charges, currency conversion fees, sourcing costs, shipping costs already incurred, or other non-recoverable expenses may be deducted from any approved refund.

4. Pre-Order Cancellations

Pre-orders may be cancelled before the product has been sourced, secured, ordered, or allocated from a supplier, distributor, manufacturer, or partner.

Once a pre-order product has been secured or ordered specifically for fulfillment, cancellation requests may be declined.

Any special cancellation conditions applicable to a particular pre-order product may be stated on the product page.

5. Special Order Products

Products sourced through our Special Order Service, including:

  • Rare collectibles
  • Imported merchandise
  • Discontinued products
  • Limited edition items
  • Customer-requested products

may be cancelled only before sourcing or procurement begins.

Once sourcing, procurement, supplier ordering, or fulfillment preparation has started, cancellation requests may be denied.

6. Orders Cancelled by Addictive Otaku Hub

We reserve the right to cancel orders in situations including:

  • Product unavailability
  • Pricing errors
  • Payment verification issues
  • Suspected fraud
  • Incorrect product information
  • Supplier issues
  • Operational or technical problems
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If AOH cancels an order after payment has been received, customers will generally receive a refund for the amount paid.

7. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

COD orders may be cancelled before dispatch.

Once a COD order has been shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Customers who repeatedly cancel, refuse delivery of, or fail to accept COD orders may have COD privileges restricted, suspended, or removed for future purchases

8. Refund Processing for Cancelled Orders

Approved cancellation refunds are generally processed within 6 business days.

Refunds may be issued through:

  • Original payment method
  • Bank transfer
  • UPI transfer
  • Other approved refund methods where applicable

Actual credit times may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, financial institutions, or payment providers.

9. Non-Refundable Charges

In certain situations, the following charges may not be refundable:

  • Payment gateway fees
  • Currency conversion charges
  • International transaction fees
  • Shipping charges already incurred
  • COD handling charges
  • Convenience fees charged by courier partners or payment providers
  • Supplier procurement or sourcing costs
  • Import duties, customs charges, or government fees
  • Other non-recoverable third-party expenses

Many of these charges are collected and retained by payment gateways, courier partners, financial institutions, customs authorities, or other third-party service providers and may not be recoverable by Addictive Otaku Hub.

Any applicable deductions will be communicated when reviewing the cancellation request.
