Thank you for shopping with Addictive Otaku Hub (“AOH”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, tracked, and delivered for both domestic and international customers.
1. Order Processing
Processing times vary depending on the type of order.
In-Stock Products
Orders for in-stock products are generally processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
Pre-Order Products
Pre-order products are processed according to their announced release schedules and supplier availability.
Special Order Products
Special Order products are processed after sourcing and supplier confirmation. Processing times may vary depending on product availability and supplier response times.
Orders are generally not processed on Sundays or public holidays.
2. Domestic Shipping
We currently ship throughout India using a combination of logistics and courier partners.
Domestic delivery times typically range between:
- 3–7 business days for most locations
- Up to 12 business days for remote, non-serviceable, or difficult-to-access locations
Actual delivery times may vary depending on courier operations, weather conditions, local restrictions, and other circumstances beyond our control.
3. International Shipping
International shipping is available to most countries where delivery services are supported.
International Order Process
For international orders:
- Customer places an order through our website.
- Our team calculates the final shipping cost.
- A shipping quotation and confirmation email are sent.
- Payment instructions may be provided through PayPal or other approved payment methods.
- Once payment is confirmed, the order is processed and dispatched.
International orders generally require a minimum purchase value of ₹2,000 INR or its approximate equivalent in another supported currency.
4. Estimated International Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on destination country, customs procedures, and shipping method selected.
Express Services (EMS, DHL, etc.)
Approximately 2–3 weeks
Standard Air Parcel
Approximately 4–5 weeks
Surface / Sea Shipping (where available)
Approximately 1–2 months
These estimates are not guaranteed and may vary depending on customs clearance and local postal operations.
5. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on:
- Delivery location
- Package size
- Weight
- Shipping method
- Product category
Domestic Free Shipping
Free shipping is available on eligible domestic orders valued at ₹399 INR or above.
Small Item Shipping
Certain low-value items, including some keychains and similar accessories priced below ₹249 INR, may incur a shipping fee of approximately ₹40 INR per order.
AOH absorbs part of the shipping cost while the remaining portion is contributed by the customer.
6. Cash on Delivery (COD)
Cash on Delivery (COD) may be available for eligible domestic orders and serviceable locations.
Please note:
- COD availability depends on product category, order value, delivery location, and courier support.
- Certain products, special orders, pre-orders, or high-value items may not be eligible for COD.
- An additional COD handling charge may apply where applicable.
- Addictive Otaku Hub reserves the right to disable COD for specific orders, locations, or customers at its discretion.
- Customers selecting COD are expected to accept and pay for the order upon delivery.
Repeated refusal of COD orders may result in future COD restrictions or account review.
7. Customs Duties & Import Taxes
For international orders:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Regulatory fees
- Local government charges
are determined by the destination country’s authorities.
These charges are:
- Not controlled by Addictive Otaku Hub
- The responsibility of the customer
- Generally non-refundable by AOH
Any applicable shipping charges provided during international order confirmation do not include customs duties or taxes unless specifically stated.
8. Shipping Partners
We work with trusted logistics providers and shipping partners, including but not limited to:
Domestic Partners
- Shiprocket
- Delhivery
- India Post
International Partners
- DHL
- EMS
- India Post International
- Other approved international carriers
Shipping providers may change without prior notice based on service availability and operational requirements.
9. Order Tracking
Once an order has been dispatched, customers will generally receive a shipping confirmation email containing:
- Tracking Number
- Courier / Shipping Provider Name
- Tracking Link (where available)
- Shipment Information
Tracking information may also be provided through SMS, WhatsApp, or other communication methods where available.
Please note that tracking information may take some time to become active after shipment pickup depending on the courier provider
10. Delivery Delays
While we strive to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to:
- Courier disruptions
- Customs inspections
- Weather conditions
- Public holidays
- Government regulations
- Transportation disruptions
- Incorrect customer information
Delivery estimates should be considered approximate rather than guaranteed.
11. Incorrect Address Information
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
If an order cannot be delivered because of incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer:
- Delivery delays may occur.
- Additional shipping charges may apply.
- Re-shipping costs may be charged to the customer.
If the issue was caused by an error on our side, Addictive Otaku Hub will take reasonable steps to correct the issue at our expense.
12. Delivery Attempts
Courier partners generally make up to two delivery attempts.
If delivery cannot be completed after the permitted attempts:
- The package may be returned to Addictive Otaku Hub.
- Re-shipping charges may apply if the customer requests another delivery attempt.
13. Lost Packages
If a shipment is confirmed lost by the courier partner during transit, Addictive Otaku Hub will investigate the matter with the shipping provider.
Depending on the circumstances, customers may be offered:
- A replacement product
- A refund
- Another appropriate resolution
Resolution options may vary depending on product availability and shipping status.
14. Damaged Shipments
If a package arrives visibly damaged:
- Customers should notify us as soon as possible.
- Photographs may be requested.
- Additional information may be required for investigation and claim processing.
